Brooke | Studio & Motorcycle Boudoir

We loved this hybrid indoor-outdoor session we did with Brooke and her husband during the fall season. Our motorcycle sessions, held at the farm of one of our friends, is one of our most popular offerings during the warm weather months.

We started this session in our comfortable home studio, which features an all-too-soft queen-sized bed. We had a sheet of Christmas lights attached to the back wall behind the bed, so we incorporated that into our session. For a short time, we did a few sessions without the headboard and also without the cushioned bench at the foot of the bed. The advantage is that we are able to pull in background lights a bit more easily than otherwise. When the headboard is attached, then we’ll often cover the headboard in various colored and textured fabrics depending on the client’s choice of outfit and the look I’m going for as the photographer. I really like how these studio bed shots of Brooke turned out.

After shooting a couple outfits in our studio, we packed up outfits and photography gear and headed to Amboy, Indiana, to the lovely farm owned by our friend, Heather. The location features a large grass field surrounded by trees, and trees with colorful leaves this time of year (This was in the fall). We loved that Brooke’s husband was part of the session! We offer couple’s sessions, but whenever a partner is along for a session, it’s always fun to get them involved.
