Ariel rocked her studio boudoir session at Bourbon and Pearls Boudoir in Greentown, Indiana with her great tattoos and bright green hair.
Andrea | Studio Boudoir
This was supposed to be an outdoor session, but when calendars are tricky and the rain won’t stop, sometimes you just have to improvise. And that led us to this studio session with the goal of creating some wonderful images for Andrea’s boyfriend. I think we met that goal, and his gift arrived in time for Christmas thanks to the efficient production of our professional photography vendor, White House Custom Color in Minneapolis.
Andrea started her session in an attractive red and black body suit that worked stunningly well with the red satin sheets on our studio bed and the darker lighting technique I created for this sequence. We even brought out a mirror — perfect for capturing images that highlight what clients bring to the game, front and back.
About the session, Andrea shared:
My session was fun! I really enjoyed it. Raul and his assistant were great and made me feel very comfortable.
Our next outfit was a blue teddy. Bringing a lollipop into the session has always been a popular part of many of our photo shoots. In fact, we will upgrade the quality of lollipops we use on set. If you have done this part of a session with me, then you remember how I encouraged you to just have fun as you play with the lollipop, alternating your gaze among the camera, the main light, and the lollipop, while also varying your expression from fun to sultry. We probably get more quality shots per minute with this them as we do with anything else we shoot. This is such a great way to capture expressive eyes.
Then we shot with our black wings, which we ordered from the Ukraine before this whole ordeal with Russia began. From time to time, I wonder how the works who made these wings are doing. I hope well. Andrea did a great job bringing her presence to this winged portion of our studio shoot, and I’m glad we remembered to bring out the moon. I guess it’s a “fly me to the moon” kind of thing. Now I want Olive Garden…
